About Air Nelson

Air Nelson is a strong regional airline operating under our parent company Air New Zealand. Flying over 1000 flights per week to 17 destinations within New Zealand we're responsible for providing regional air transport services along with maintaining all of Air New Zealand's Q300 fleet and heavy maintenance support for the ATR fleet.

We employ over 500 staff, across a range of careers including Engineers, Airport, Crew and Corporate roles. Our head office is based in Nelson, situated in the South Island of New Zealand. Our Pilots and Flight Attendants are based in Auckland, Napier, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Christchurch, Wellington and of course Nelson, along with the Management team, Engineering base, Operations staff and Admin support.

Having undergone a multi-million dollar investment recently, our engineering facilities and state of the art modern environments, make Air Nelson one of the best engineering facilities in New Zealand. As a regional airline, we play an important contribution not only to the destinations we serve but also to the domestic revenue of the Air New Zealand Network. We also play a strong role in the economic wellbeing of those regions, a position we hold with huge pride. These same regional centres are important not only to us but also our parent company as today the three link airlines, Air Nelson, Mount Cook Airline and Eagle Air carry over 50% of the total customers carried domestically. For the Air New Zealand Group to compete internationally we must have a strong domestic base.

Air New Zealand is one of the world's leading airlines, with a diverse business spanning the globe and touching on numerous industries. Working within this network, you will be working for a world leader in reputation and innovation. Strong leadership guides us through our transformations and change strategies, to meet arduous market demands. This ensures our success competing in tough markets and in winning awards!

We are good at what we do, because we enjoy doing it. We recognise that when a workforce enjoys what they do, they will achieve more and we all grow together. This growth enables us to be successful.
