Mount Cook Airline is a fully owned subsidiary of Air New Zealand with its Head Office at Christchurch Airport. We currently operate a fleet of 11 ATR 500 turbo-prop aircraft which seat 68 passengers. Our fleet will be increased over the next three years with the introduction of additional ATR 600 Aircraft.
Our network extends from Invercargill to Auckland, flying to both tourist centres and major cities throughout the country. With our current fleet we have over 500 flights per week and annually carry over 1.8 million passengers.
In addition, Mount Cook Airline manages the operation of five airports - Hamilton, Rotorua, Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill. Our employees at these airports look after all passenger needs from check-in to baggage delivery.
