I'm part of the Marketing team, our job is to deliver marketing campaigns and programmes which contribute to the overall success of the airline.
Where did your journey start?
My journey with Air New Zealand started in 2006, three months after I graduated from University with a Business and IT degree. I first joined the airline’s Group IT division as Business Systems Analyst. Three years later I was promoted to Senior Business Analyst.
Where’s your journey taken you so far within Air New Zealand?
At the beginning of 2011 I had the opportunity to work in Marketing on an exciting project focused on growing the Asia market. A year later I joined the Marketing team permanently as Communications Executive.
Where do you hope your journey will take you?
I really enjoy working in the Marketing team. It offers me the opportunity to work on various exciting projects and I get to meet great people from different parts of the airline. With the skills and experiences I have been given (and will continue to accumulate) I hope I can further my career path in Marketing.
What Air New Zealand value do you feel you best represent and why?
To me, the core Air New Zealand value is the one that gives genuine warmth and the welcoming feeling one creates when serving our customers or working alongside a colleague.
It also means to always challenge oneself to overcome the barriers of success and achieve higher performance. It’s the Kiwi ‘Can Do’ attitude.
What’s the best story you’ve been able to tell after a day at work?
With the help of many great Air New Zealanders, we managed to re-accommodate several family groups from China (50 plus people) without major complaints, after most airports in the South Island were closed due to several snow storms.
