Air New Zealand Technical Operations is offering a two-year programme for Graduate Engineers looking to accelerate a career in aeronautical engineering. The graduate program

 A planned series of placements covers the full spectrum of engineering activities supporting a 50-strong fleet that features some of the world’s most advanced passenger jets, plus other growth opportunities.

Year one placements

  • Engineering - fleet management, reliability and supporting the design of aircraft repairs and modifications in the liaison team 
  • Support - planning, materials and quality teams, plus hands-on experience working in the structures workshops and aircaft light maintenance in the hangar

Year two

  • Further placements in Tech Ops Engineering’s teams, plus Airline Operations
  • Management of a cross-functional project, applying your own skills and insights in supporting Tech Ops’ commitment to continuous improvement

Prerequisites

Applicants will have a four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably majoring in mechanical, electronics or mechatronics.
