Cabin Crew

Flight Attendants

No other work group in Air New Zealand spends as much time with our customers as our Flight Attendants.

For them, the opportunity to make a difference to customers every single day is a huge motivator and opportunity.

When our customers recall truly great flight experiences, it is invariably the charm, humour and exceptional service that come to mind. While arriving on time, the ability to rest and enjoying outstanding New Zealand food and drink are all incredibly important, it is our uniquely Kiwi style of "informal elegance" that people talk about. Kiwis are renowned for modesty, but let’s be honest; our crews are among the best in the world at delivering this style of service.

To provide a performance like this requires a team of professionals with an uncompromising commitment to excellence. Strong problem solving skills, teamwork and the ultimate Kiwi "can-do" attitude are the attributes required to keep Air New Zealand operating at world class levels. We need resilient team players, with great personalities and a keen sense of humour to represent New Zealand with pride and passion.

They use their years of experience and innate understanding of the in-flight environment to redefine customer service.

Our Managers are important leaders. They know how to utilise the strengths of their team whilst helping them to improve. They read situations exceptionally well and are adept at solving problems quickly and effectively.

We need people who embody hard work, integrity and trust and will make a huge difference to crew and customers alike.
