As a Tandem Travel consultant you have many duties each day, including answering incoming phone calls and emails from customers and providing travel options that suit customers needs.
In reality there is no typical day, as the nature of the business ensures that each day is different. You always expect the unexpected. A smooth day can become a real challenge when flights are disrupted by weather or when a customer needs to get to an urgent meeting. On such days the Tandem Travel Consultants role becomes one of making the customer experience the best possible.
You can expect a large volume of customers contacting us due to a range of queries. You will need to ensure you make changes to their flights, that the new ticket details are correct and deal with any refunds where applicable. You will also need to make sure the customers other arrangements like hotels and rental cars are re-booked to the new dates and times.
