The Agile Coach will work as part of the Digital Strategy and Enablement team; a group that promotes collaboration, offers expertise, provides tools and defines best practices. The team's goal is to help accelerate Digital transformation at Air New Zealand by bringing a balance of discipline, creativity, focus and fun to make a difference for Air New Zealand.  This role will focus on developing a robust agile working environment, enabling high team performance through expert facilitation and instituting a coaching centre of excellence.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Leading by example to educate and coach principles of self-organising teams
  • Assessing team health while understanding priorities and systems at play
  • Acting as an adviser and coach to improve the effectiveness of current practices
  • Facilitating practical improvement plans that make full use of your coaching, mentoring and teaching skills
  • Demonstrating the importance of feedback for continual learning
  • Highlighting and communicating the benefits of organisational agility in fun and creative ways
  • Coaching the organisation in metrics for success

What we're looking for:

  • Strong influencing and persuasion skills
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Previous experience as an agile coach (preferably for a large enterprise)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills showing your ability to clearly and concisely present information
  • Creative but pragmatic
  • Fast, flexible and open to change
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead change and engage teams maintaining strong engagement
  • Relentless energy and optimism
